Sultan Tipu’s Will
Thou art a wayfarer by
choice, never accept a halt,
See that the worldy pleasures don’t
deviate thee,
O
the spring of water! Grow into a violent river,
If
thou be accorded shore don’t accept it,
Don’t get lost in the universe of idol-worship,
Pleasures don’t suit thee, don’t
be influenced by pleasure,
Islamic
teachings have disclosed to me,
Don’t train thy heart to accept slavery of
intellect,
Untruth likes partners, Allah has no partners,
Don’t seek adjustment of truth and
untruth.
